The Real Me. The Secret Embarassing Side.

About Me

Captain Sally Seawater

My real name is Sylvia Idleness; you can thank my father Ben for that. The bloody bastard. If you're reading this, I hate you dad!! My best friends call me Sally, but since we've only just met, please call me Captain Saltwater. Anything else and I will see to it personally that ye be thrown overboard. Understand? Good.

Now listen, I got this boat by lying to the crown that we will be undertaking a voyage of scientific Discovery. I may or may not have left out the part that we will be primarily investigating the valuable properties of gold, silver and priceless jewels. I take it as a personal responsibility to ensure merchants are honest about what they’ve got.

If you haven't noticed, my ship is called the Stone Road Endeavour. Named of course after the Great Stone Road, the King’s Road. Beginning in the town of Imre, it stretches over 3,000 miles past beyond the Stormwal Mountains. Although parts of it have fallen into disrepair under our most recent lordship, we will be taking a similar trajectory on sea. We’ll be leaving Tarbean at 4:00am tomorrow morning, venturing towards and beyond the Stormwal Mountains.

With that in mind, Clarabelle is the primary scribe on board. She's and Lizzy are the only one that are literate. She also runs the Stone Road Gazette for us. While we will document some of our investigation on gold, we do have to send a copy of our findings back to the king periodically and therefore must also include "scientific articles" to keep up the ruse. If you think of anything to add to it, please speak to Clarabelle to submit your entry.

If you need the lost and found, please check with Horace.

If you think you've been skiffed on your rations, please see Elizabeth our quartermaster. If she dislikes you, she may send you to Lydia. I can promise you, Lydia is not someone you want to spend much time with.

If you have Any other questions, ask the albatross floating overhead, he seems friendly? Otherwise, stay quiet, keep down and get to work! Now scram! Before I send you to swim with the little fishies.

Sincerely,

Captain Sally Saltwater
